Smart See, Smart Do: Nova Southeastern University
What's blue and is as long as a football field?
Answer: The mural of Sharks and undersea life located at Nova Southeastern University's Don Taft University Center.
This three-story-tall mural spans the length of a football field and was hand-painted by famed marine artist and scientist Guy Harvey. It is the largest mural Harvey has ever created, and it features every species of shark (NSU's nickname is the Sharks). You can find it along the central atrium of the University Center, a multipurpose facility that includes a food court, 4,500-seat arena, a Performing and Visual Arts Wing with two theaters, and a fitness center.
