Smart College Visit Logs 10,000th Tweet

Z. Kelly Queijo, March 23, 2012

It was exciting to write the 10,000th Tweet for @collegevisit. I really thought long and hard about it. I considered sharing the most popular post on Smart College Visit's blog, or thanking a bunch of followers (but all 2030 won't fit in a single tweet!). I thought about sharing an inspirational quote, and then it hit me — that the thing that I love most about Twitter is meeting people and making connections, and even friends.  So, it only made sense that my 10,000th tweet reflect just that:

College visit 10k

And, a very special thanks to Jane Kudlow (@CvlKudlow)–who I met on Twitter–for snagging this moment and sending me the image.  Twitter is news and good karma all rolled into one.

If you're college-bound and not Twitter, you should be (even if it's just to listen, research or follow):

If you're don't follow #CampusChat on Wednesday nights, you should–especially if you are college-bound–the information shared here comes from parents, guidance counselors, college admission professionals and higher ed experts:

More tweets to come!
