Students are gaining less weight than past years–mostly due to health and nutrition awareness and better campus offerings (healthier cafeteria options, fitness activities and healthier late night food options). I do however think some students still have to adjust to the responsibilities of being on their own and tend to go a bit crazy with food choices, partying and consuming more calories than usual. Those tend to be the students that have a hard time reining it back and staying on track.
