China’s $250 Billion Education Budget

chinaA major agenda item for Michelle Obama’s recent visit to China was education.  It seems, from this 2013 information from College Stats, that education is already a focus of the Chinese government.

What can the U.S. learn from this national push for improved education rates? Should we be thinking about sending our students there for higher education?
