Get a jump start on your scholarship application processJunior scholarship tip: Get a head start on the scholarship application process!

As soon as this school year is over, current high school juniors will qualify for many college scholarships that are open to high school seniors for 2014-2015. Asking teachers for letters of recommendation for scholarships now, before the school year ends, is a way to get a jump on the competition. Most students wait until the fall to ask for theirs.

A lot of scholarship work can be done in the summer before the senior year, and already having letters of recommendation is a big part of the process. This is another way to break it down into do-able steps, which is so important for a busy senior’s life.

Start early, apply for more scholarships, and increase the chances of winning money for college!
