Scholarship Mom Tip #75: How to find scholarships? Ask!

How to find scholarships? Easy. Ask!How do you find college scholarships? It’s not always complicated.

A very easy way to find scholarships is to simply ask.

Ask employers. Ask local banks. Ask at church. Ask local clubs and organizations.

Get the word out to friends and relatives and have them ask — where they work, worship, bank, etc…

Once people know that your student is trying to win scholarship money to help pay for college, they will be more than happy to do whatever it takes to help.

Still not sure where to ask? Try scout groups, community organizations, civic groups, hospitals, businesses, professional organizations, newspapers, area high school websites, and restaurants.

Leave no scholarship stone unturned and ask, ask, ASK!
