Scholarship Mom Tip #77: Make Lists

Scholarship Mom recommends making lists

Many students simply have no idea how to get started in the college scholarship process and as a result, don’t apply for any scholarships at all.

An easy first step is to make lists. At the very least, students will need lists of the following:

  • Letter of Recommendation writers
  • lists of their strengths and leadership skills
  • lists of people who can help them in the college and scholarship application process

There are several smart phone apps that will help with organizing these lists (Evernote is one), or a trusty spiral notebook never goes out of style.

Not sure where to start? Make a list!
