Scholarship Mom Tip #82: Scholarship Essays – Use and Reuse

Scholarship essays - use and reuse!

Applying for scholarships? Don’t avoid applications just because they require scholarship essays!

Many students are looking for “easy” scholarships that do not require writing an essay. What they don’t realize, however, is that the scholarship essay is the very best way for the judges to determine what kind of student is applying for their scholarship and gives them specific reasons to pick the winner.

Scholarship essays should always be saved to a file and used again as often as possible when applying for scholarships.

Reusing scholarship essays saves time and allows students to apply for more scholarships.

Just be sure to keep in mind that word counts may need to be adjusted and the name of the scholarship organization changed for each essay.
