Scholarship Mom Tip #177: You Can Still Apply for Scholarships

Twice in the last 24 hours I’ve been asked the exact same question: “Is it too late to apply for scholarships?”

Most people assume that when school winds down for the year and summer vacation starts, all scholarship deadlines have passed and it’s “too late” to find any new ones. As I’m constantly on the look-out for new scholarship opportunities, I can tell you without hesitation that NO, it is not too late for students to apply for scholarships.

scholarship tip 177 you can still apply for scholarships

In fact, I recently found a scholarship that awards students who have applied for lots of scholarships! The College Scholarship for Aggressive Scholarship Applicants is an easy scholarship that is specifically for students who have been dedicated in the scholarship process.

Another one is my own scholarship, the Savor Summer College Scholarship that has strangely not gotten very many applicants this year.

Parents and their students can search for “scholarships with 2016 summer deadlines” to find even more award opportunities and continue the scholarship process throughout the summer.

Do you know of a scholarship with an upcoming or summer deadline? Please share it in the comments section below!
